Is that right, Maathijs? I'll give that a shot when I get home from work tonight to see if that makes a difference. If I can at least run it windowed, that'd make my situation a little more tolerable.
Mario, this is a little worse than the known Compiz / Beryl known issues. Initially after installing Gutsy, I did have the problem where it wouldn't work with Compiz effects enabled. I could run mythtv by choosing "No Effects" in the Appearance applet, and everything was fine. However, now my crashing occurs even when I choose "No Effects". In fact, I even uninstalled compiz and used Gnome + Metacity to verify nothing remotely compiz-y was running. Exact same crash occurs. So I don't think this is a duplicate of the Compiz / Beryl issue. -- [Gutsy] mythfrontend crashes on video playback https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137138 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
