Hi Phillip, What an odd little bug. Does anything interesting show up in dmesg after you've attempted to type unsuccessfully? Also, I think you may have had a typo with your lspci command. Care to try again and attach the log file?
sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log Can you also try booting with the kernel boot option apci=off ?
