Hi Phillip, I'm glad to hear the workaround helped. I'm not very knowledgeable in the area of improving boot time so I can't be of much help there. However, the kernel team might be able to give more insight when they look into resolving this bug. I'm going to tag this report as "hardy- kernel-candidate" so that we make sure this gets retargetted towards the upcoming Hardy kernel. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask if you could test with the Hardy kernel once it does come out and let us know if this issue still persists and if the workaround is still viable. Thanks!
