Matthew,

You are new to the SRU team and don't seem to be used to working with
volunteers. This requirement has never been this strict before. While
that might be acceptable within Canonical, it is less-so when
interacting with volunteers. If you plan to be successful within the SRU
team, especially when interacting with volunteers, please relax a
little. The combination of his comments should have been enough.

Aaron had already tested above and ran into the issue with the file not
being there. I re-uploaded. The block was no longer there as the file
existed. He had an exact copy of the file already installed and it was
successful, so it stands to reason that it was a duplicate filename and,
as we know, the /etc/ directory tends to be handled by dpkg differently
than normal files.

However, to appease the letter-of-the-law (as opposed to the spirit-of-
the-law),

$ apt-cache policy plasma-optimus
plasma-optimus:
  Installed: 26.04.5-0ubuntu1

(0x1de is the vendor ID for Nvidia)

Launching Plasma Optimus widget (Nvidia icon in system tray) ->
Processes using Nvidia GPU. kwin_wayland is not listed.

$ apt-cache policy plasma-optimus

Processes using Nvidia GPU now shows kwin_wayland listed along with just
about anything else launched since session start.
