I agree 100% with what Ripps818 says. This update only went in to hardy- proposed, which is a testing repository for updated packages. hardy- proposed is aimed at people wanting to test updated packages, and is designed to catch problems like this. The only users affected by this problem are those who have explicitly enabled the hardy-proposed testing repository, and not the general user base. People running hardy-proposed should be prepared for occasional breakage like this (as is the case with running the unstable branch)
