However, the selection of software available in the Ubuntu repositories is different from the selection of software available in the repositories of other OSes -- more different than, for example, the interface of a typical program in Ubuntu compared with the same program in another OS. Therefore, it's valuable to have "Ubuntu" in the name of this particular utility.
