Per
<http://www.pathname.com/fhs/pub/fhs-2.3.html#OPTADDONAPPLICATIONSOFTWAREPACKAGES>,
folder names in /opt/ MUST be a package or a provider name registered
with LANANA to avoid conflicts, excepting TLDs.

Therefore, /opt/extras.ubuntu.com/ would require no additional action on
our part, or we could request registration of "extras-ubuntu" /
"ubuntu-extras".
