Dear all, This is an invite to an open week of discussion. I am not very happy with the current direction/status of the community and sub-teams (my area as a community lead). Therefore, I'd ask:
- Leaders of Ubuntu GNOME sub-teams - Acting team leaders - The active contributors of the sub-teams - And, whoever is interested to join (we have no secrets to hide) Let's be available on IRC whenever you can. Simply, ping me with an email and I'll login to IRC if I am not logged in already. Times where I can *not* be online: - 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM +10 GMT - http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html - 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM +10 GMT - http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM +10 GMT - http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Again, this is an open week of discussion. It means, no specific time nor date. Started already from today, until Friday 7th of August, 2015. *Sorry, I will not do anything during the weekends any more unless it is a super critical and urgent matter.* It is the best way to make sure I will catch up with each and everyone :) I am no longer interested to waste time over endless mailing list discussion just to find a good time for everyone, that will never happen. Those who will fail to show up this week, without a very valid reason, I'd ask them to step down until they're 100% able to be back to action again. If you see this now and you know you can't make it for a very good and valid reason, please do reply me only and let me know from now, please! if you will not reply nor show up, it means you're already away from Ubuntu GNOME without letting us/me know: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/GettingInvolved/WhoWeAre/Vacation Which means, you need to step back, finish whatever is more urgent (I do understand, no worries) and give the chance to others who would love to help! Yes, I managed to stay away from ALL my project for 48 hours and I managed to heal myself and recharge my empty drained dying batteries.
