Well, I think that if the entire Gnome project can manage with one repo, then so can the marketing team. So far you haven't said anything that remotely justifies making loads more subdomains... If you want to divide some projects up, then consider registering individual projects in launchpad and making them part of an ubuntu-marketing project. Don't forget that if you feel that you can manage the project code in bzr, then launchpad will host the branches for you.
