I mostly agree - but I don't think LMMS is useless - otherwise I wouldn't make these tracks with it: https://soundcloud.com/unfa and two longplays, one which sold a few copies after a concert :) It has some major flaws (no UNDO! argh!!) but despite it is pretty capable. Plus it has a nice community around it. And - it's also developing quickly for the last 3 months - reaching v. 1.0.0.
