Nice. I love the fact that this is a real collaborative effort. With input from multiple community members. For your version I find the contrast between the black text and dark green background hard to read. Personally I am not a fan of the curvy rectangles round text (as also used in ubuntumagazine incidentally) but that may be just personal preference. It makes the whole thing a bit "busy" in my book.
