Hi, I transcribed most of the Ubuntu Screencasts subtitles and as a guide it took me around 4-5 hours for a 30 min video. Granted, I'm not a fast typist and each line had to be sync'ed with the video/audio properly afterwards, so I'm sure this project will be much quicker.
