I thought it would grab the ID automatically, but Amarok (1.4) 
specifically said that I'd need the ID

After unmounting it (via root) the iTouch didn't list the songs I 
transferred to it, so I reckon it may well need the signing...

But thanks for the help, I'll post again on Wednesday with my iTouch + 
ID/Amarok results...
