Nathan and I have been discussing the most cost-effective way of
getting CD's produced with professional results yet at a very low
cost to us since we (those who decide to contribute to the cost)

Does anyone have any feedback or ideas?

Official CDs are available for sale in the Canonical store, at roughly the
cost of media:

Do you think you'll actually be able to do them more cheaply than that
locally?

It actually would appear Canonical waives shipping price on CD's which is actually pretty nice... But we are still talking $200+ for 200 CD's I can get spindles of 100 CD's for like $15-20 and I'm not sure what labels would cost... The biggest thing I am concerned about is burning out by CD/DVD drive on my laptop.
