We do not support hybrid graphics switching at this time. For now issues should be directed to the bumblebee folks or intel or nvidia.
Alberto Milone (tseliot) is planning on some work for enabling hybrid graphics; you could contact him directly if you'd like to assist him with testing. (Fwiw, my guess is that having both the nvidia and i915 kernel drivers loaded is causing some confusion about which driver owns what. You might try blacklisting nvidia when you're using intel, but I don't know how that might interact with bumblebee. Again, best to contact them for assistance getting that to work.) Leaving the unity task open to examine the issue raised in comment #4, although I suspect it's coincidental that it broke when unity was upgraded. ** Changed in: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/927541 Title: HDMI monitor issues since 5.2 (hybrid gfx) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/927541/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
