Hi Bryce, I can't reproduce this bug reliably at all so I'd prefer to try things with the existing white window that hasn't disappeared yet (but that I will be getting rid of this evening sometime, as it's getting in my way). But I can try those options you mentioned anyway and hope it reproduces itself.
