I would like to ask for clarification. My status is that I am running 295.49, installed via precise-updates. I had previously uninstalled everything nvidia, attempted to get nouveau working (I have a 2 video card setup), and then decided to give the binary drivers one more try. So I apt-get installed them.
My symptoms remain. All is fine immediately after a restart. However, after a period of time, X is slow, and Flash becomes unplayable. This behavior is a huge regression compared to 10.04. What is the right venue for these problems? Is there a different open bug that is more pertinent? Thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982710 Title: [regression] Nvidia 295.40 driver is extremely slow To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/982710/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
