*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 973096 ***
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973096

I think the duplicate status is wrong because the problem is not necessarily
related to nvidia drivers.
I confirm it on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit with an intel graphics card.

I remember I had encountered this bug a little after a fresh install.
Then it seemed to be fixed after a few updates but today(after almost a month)
it happened again two times!

details:

1st time it happened: I pressed SUPER+2 to open firefox right after
logging in: It logd out immediately and...reseted my keyboard layout
(which isn't only annoying but could be very bad for a noob who doesn't
know how to setup a foreign keyboard layout from scratch)

2nd time (like old times): I opened firefox and started typing...BOOM!
logd out again luckily this time my keyboard setup was left intact.

please Ubuntu team: give some priority to fixing bugs. There are *alot*
of them for an LTS release.

** Also affects: unity
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New
