Nearly every i915 related commit from 3.3.x have been applied to 3.2.x upstream, most of which are in the kernel in precise-proposed, rest of which are in the next update after that. The remaining three commits are related to sprite support (new in 3.3) and some blank eDP issue.
I have an ivybridge system myself, and 3.3.x is not enough for me at least. It's trivially easy to get a gpu hang by opening the session menu from the login screen, 2395cc578b83382 from 3.4-rc3 is needed to fix that.
