#246 how did you conclude no memory leaks? I applied the backclear patch and for me it has the same effect as the no-backfill patch.
Uptime 23 hours Xorg memory usage: 2.5 GB (!!!!) To me both patches are workarounds. I find it hard to consider either a proper fix :(.
