Hi,
Last 23.04 updates seems to fix it!

(initially i meant 23.04 of course instead 23.10.)

Just want to let you know, as i noticed new nvidia 390 package updates
(from ubuntu), i'd gave it a try.

Updated all packages, deactivated the mainline-kernel installed manual
running: 6.2.0-24-generic, 390.157-0ubuntu5.23.04.1 nvidia
and disabled the manual applied library order hack in
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/nvidia.conf

nvidia loads, 2 external 4K screens works as before. all seems solved
with the most recent update (kernel/nvidia and more stuff)

maybe another want so check/confirm, but i think this ticket can be
closed
