Hi, Last 23.04 updates seems to fix it! (initially i meant 23.04 of course instead 23.10.)
Just want to let you know, as i noticed new nvidia 390 package updates (from ubuntu), i'd gave it a try. Updated all packages, deactivated the mainline-kernel installed manual running: 6.2.0-24-generic, 390.157-0ubuntu5.23.04.1 nvidia and disabled the manual applied library order hack in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/nvidia.conf nvidia loads, 2 external 4K screens works as before. all seems solved with the most recent update (kernel/nvidia and more stuff) maybe another want so check/confirm, but i think this ticket can be closed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2016459 Title: NVRM: RmInitAdapter failed! , failed to copy vbios to system memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-390/+bug/2016459/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
