I apologise for the inclusion of logs and stuff in the post. I did try and change it after I posted it, but the page just timed out on me every time.
However attached are the logs you asked for. Behaviour wise with that boot command included the login screen was not "bunched up" at the bottom. All of the options were clear to see and select instead of being on top of each other. I would like to try a 64-bit approach however I am a little afraid that the hardware would not be capable of it and since I do not understand enough about it. I'm not going to do it. I hope that does not impede your advice/research into this bug. ** Attachment added: "requested log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35000518/requestedlog -- [i965Q] screen resolution only "sees" 640x480 and 800x600 since Karmic fresh install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/470224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
