I'm running Lucid in Virtualbox (PUEL) and the same thing happens when I install the guest additions, but I have an Nvidia card (9400) in the host system. Should I open a new bug report or add further details to this one? Installing the kernel from your PPA and adding guest additions again does not work (ubuntu is running in low graphics mode... yada yada).
