Brilliant! Well if it has installed then please go ahead with deleting
sda7 and sda6 :)
Linux is very variable so there are a lot of possibilities for how
you've managed to install gparted - perhaps off the cd, perhaps a
different repository somehow, perhaps you're not in 7.10
