uDig not responding to 'raised' exposure events.

When uDig has been covered by another window and is then 'raised' to the top,
the map doesn't get redrawn.
Collapsing the window and re-expanding it causes a redraw. NB, this is *not*
about rendering but about redrawing the previously rendered map to draw the
areas which have been 'damaged' by other windows.
Also happens with Operations->Information->Feature Count in Map. Open a map,
open the dialog, close the dialog and see the blank area underneath.
