Jesse, The error message I get in the status bar when I mouse over the image is:
"Error: null" I'm almost positive that the world file and image file are fine, as they are working in AutoCAD Map. I wonder if UDig might be choking on an image whose orientation isn't due north? Is this possible, or is there something else going on? Am I doing something wrong? Would it help if I send the image and world file along for a test? Thanks, The Sunburned Surveyor P.S. - I really like that the UDig GUI is built on Eclipse RCP. (One of the OpenJUMP developers, Paul Austin is doing something similar for OpenJUMP using the InfoNode Docking Windows library. http://www.infonode.net/index.html?idw ) It makes the MDI type of GUI a lot more palatable. (Or maybe this is just because I use Eclipse as my main Java IDE. If only it would get a decent and free port of Matisse.) I tried out the polygon digitizing tools in UDig as well. It doesn't use the "rubberband" technique that is used in OpenJUMP. This is more natural for me, because the "rubberband" technique is very "un-CAD". :] I need to pay more attention to what you guys are doing with UDig, because I really like some of it. I hope you guys don't mind the feedback. On 9/13/07, Sunburned Surveyor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Thanks Jesse.
