Nice- one of the tasks was to ask for a better name then area. Could we steal the word "Region" and just combine the two concepts? I will note that the intension is to eventually have a non rectangular region (so you could select a line; and then define a "region" based on a 5 km buffer and then use that to filter the table view).
But the first step is to turn this into a workbench service etc... Can we get a pointer to the jgrass region - personally I don't consider any of the code to be present until it has a mention in the developers guide with a code example. I will congratulate you on having it documented nicely in the user guide (http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/EN/Active+Region+Decoration). Reading through that it sounds like we have exactly the same concept in mind; so a breakout session to compare notes/plans would be in order. -- Jody Garnett On Thursday, 8 September 2011 at 2:57 PM, Jesse Eichar wrote: > I agree in principal but I would like the Area service to be implemented so > that it integrates with JGrass's Region idea.
