Either from a Windows machine from my office which is infected or from
an internet cafe with windows installations, I must have got my pen
drive infected. Pen drive is probably the source for the following
problem, but I am not sure.

The drive worked fine on a laptop with snv_68, but when I tried to
tranfer files using the pen drive on to a server with Solaris 10
11/06, I found the the rmdisk folder with an rmdisk0 folder and a
folder called unnamed-rmdisk and in the folder I did not find
"noname" or "unnamed", which is how usually the rmdisk shows up when
plugged in. The drive worked fine on this machine with Solaris 10 on
the last instance when used, which was a few days ago. (In my machine
the icon does not usually appear autodetected on the desktop)

In both the folders rmdisk0 and unnamed_rmdisk, the only icon that I
found was that of a file named Install_NWWiDemand.exe which was seen
in the folder even after the rmdisk was removed. This is possibly
copied on to the rmdisk folder automatically ?

I deleted the file, which is still in the trash folder, in case anyone
wants to examine it.

Now the pendrive is not detected when plugged in. The drive is with
data, and it works fine on snv_68. I plugged the pendrive and searched
for the file Install_NWWiDemand.exe which is not there or not seen. It
is also possible that the source of this file in the rmdisk folder on
the machine with Solaris 10 is not this pendrive...

Also, Solaris did not boot once, when I tried booting with the rmdisk
still plugged in, the machine was searching for installed O/S
instances, found Solaris, when mounted still did not boot, on shell
prompt at the exit command, it said " no installed o/s instances".

I tried once or twice but the machine did not boot, but on repeated
attempts it managed to.

The booting problem may or may not be related to the exe file found.

Thank you
