Dear Anil, The pendrive issue might not be related from the pen drive.
I found the orign of the windows.exe file from a mail message received. The mail from network world included a link to a subscription, and that link was to download Install_NWWiDemand.exe I must have received a mail from network world before, must have gone through this routine and the file Install_NWWiDemand.exe might have been directly copied on the /rmdisk/ folder somehow. By coincidence the machine developed some rmdisk boot problems, and when there was a problem with detecting the pen drive, I thought it was due to the Install_NWWiDemand.exe file seen in /rmdisk/ folder. Sorry.
