Yeah, hmm, it was rather a pain. But I found it easier to reinstall than to 
upgrade. (OK, I'm mainly a Linux user but without fear of trying things out 
and hosing my own gear).

Sounds very cool. Thanks for the clarification on Indiana vs Nevada. OK. This 
new package manager sounds cool. pkgadd was/is a drag compared to APT. I'll 
try this installer on said unfortunate laptop, at the risk of getting beaten 
up by the wife if she can't use it for a few days afterwards... ;-)

A presentation would be interesting, but oddly enough at the moment there seem 
to be only 2 takers for a meeting...
