Dear all, Thanks Mark for starting this thread. I got a few but interesting answers to my poll and I will post the results in an separate e-mail.
I think we should stick with the idea of having an event soon about OpenSolaris distros with the idea of an install fest. There is plenty of good things in Solaris Express especially and this is really the way to go to run Solaris on your laptop on a daily basis. Even on modern laptops, the install is getting smoother & smoother and eventually Indiana (leveraging the Caiman Project) will make it even simpler. That said, let's target an evening or 2 in the first 2 weeks of December: whether we do one or several events will depend on the number of people and their location.
