The man (Bukenya) doesnt even realize that he is a non-entity to Mu7, incapable of even replacing him, if Mu7's recent pronouncements about not seeing anyone who can replace him, is anything to go-by. He is just a boot-licker out to earn a living, and probably a hopeless academic. Otherwise many professors would not in a million years accept a corrupt political job (the smart one tend to stick to their jobs and might accept an advisory role), except the lousy ones. (And believe me we have many such).

Bwambuga,

Believe you me, soon or later the VP will be teaching somewhere under a tree in exile, when the Museveni dictatorship expires or he is fired. This man is a real sychophant and another potential dictator in the making.

>I don't know which world Bukenya grew up in. But this is typical of a turn-boy character. Bukenya should be more concerned about what image his boss is causing him than the other way around. If his boss can still say today that Obote and Amin were the reasons Ugandans were ailling from polio, and that northerners and eaterners were "biological substances", where could we put Bukenya's mental status. That goes to show clearly what concerns the Ugandan VP.

If Prof. Bukenya cared to compare the cartoons in question to those depicting Tony Blair in UK, George Bush or most other leaders in the Western Capitals or mature democracies, he would have discovered that political cartoonists in Uganda have been just too kind and good natured to President Museveni.
