The page is pretty much standalone. I guess the project should be part
of the TraditionalGUIGroup,
but I'm not sure how it would fit in yet, as I don't administer that
group. There's also no special
mailing list as of yet. Does that answer your questions?

Please explain, I'm not familiar with LFBC. I suppose you're referring
to a basic windowing system,
but it shouldn't be hard to design one ourselves. Besides, if we are
able to create peers that map into
Swing, then we won't have to worry to much about low-level windowing
issues.
