We've had this. Took to their customer forum to start with which got me nowhere. Then took to Twitter and referenced the forum. Eventually solved.
More recently if you just straight to their forum and post the serial and a traceroute they pick it up really quickly and "resync" your unit. Had to do a couple end of last month. Back on within a couple of hours. Forum.vodafone.co.uk is the place to go.
