I use Verison DSL (the low speed one). No problems.
You need a windows machine to set up your account. Once set up, you can
replace it with your Linux box.
Use an ethernet connection to the Westell modem.
I found the modem to be problematic in establishing a connection. You
must push the reset button on the back and try several times to
establish the link.
It is best to leave it connected all the time.
