  I think I mistakenly didn't send the earlier mail to the mailing list. What 
I had mentioned was to search for "presentation remote" in any of the popular 
market websites. 

As for compatibility, a couple of such remotes are connected via USB and "just 
work" with linux. They act like a keyboard once they are plugged in.

All the buttons except the "Blank screen" (next to Esc) work out of the box in 
linux.
