You would have to link statically for that, so you'd probably need to
compile against the sources for libjpeg.

may be useful -- if you can find another version of the jpeg library,
this suggests that a copy, renamed, may work.  Hopefully someone has
a definitive answer, though.  Also, where it is looking for the libraries
might be important.
