If there is a way to turn it off in SC 7.0.1 I think I could make some steps forward. If not... I will go ahead and try 7.1, since I do have a successful installation of DBI and DBD-mysql and see what I come up with. I'm still looking for any good tips on start up scripts and how to get the manifest set up.
