Since I didn't know how to go forward, I decided to go backword. I removed squeezecenter in Synaptic - was listed as "installed (local or obsolete)". Then tried to follow the "official" installation instructions exactly. My sources.list file is updated.
When I do a "sudo apt-get install squeezecenter" I get this: "Package squeezecenter is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package squeezecenter has no installation candidate" I assume this is because of the lpia thing - is it looking for "binary-lpia" folder that isn't there? Given this fact, how do I best install squeezecenter? Another question - Are all of the packages listed in the "Packages" text file (http://debian.slimdevices.com/dists/stable/main/binary-i386/) supposed to be installed after squeezecenter installed? When I grabbed the squeezecenter .deb previously and managed to install it, is it somehow supposed to install all these related packages? Sorry if these are silly questions.... -- dingJam ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dingJam's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22565 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57553 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
