I've given up trying to fix the LMS install .... so I'm now at the point of trying a new install, after reinstalling Linux.
Given the program has undergone a name change to logitechmediaserver, do I need to fix user rights and directories using the new name rather than squeezeboxserver? Is there a guide anywhere with tips for ubuntu install for LMS ? I installed 7.6 using: sudo dpkg -i sbs.deb sudo apt-get --yes clean I presume I can do the same only changing to LMS.deb ? (I change the original deb file names to make it easier to type in terminal!) -- castalla 1 Touch - Muse M50 EX TPA3123 T-Amp Mini - Acoustics Q10 speakers - 2 duff ears - purfek! 1 Logitech Radio + remote - purfek! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ castalla's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15624 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92765 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
