The code should not have changed significantly as far as output
processing is concerned on little endian machines.  When it starts up
one of the threads will run as real time if the user is allowed to (so
if you run as root, or if you configure the system as per one of the
posts higher up this thread to allow a user to run real time processes)

Try "ps -TFca"

This is the output for the four threads from squeezelite:

One of the threads should be FF which is real time.
