@bakker_be: During the tests I did with LMS I had it connected wireless (no Ethernet connected). My music library resides on my NAS and contains a bit over 11000 songs. It scanned the whole thing in 12 minutes. If I would extrapolate my results on a 70000 songs library it would scan for about 76 minutes. That is a lot less than your 11 hours scan time! Are you sure you there was no other thing(s) at cause for the long scan times?
