Thank you sbp. My RaspberryPi arrived this morning and like others have reported it was a quick setup to get it playing out the headphone jack using v1.02.
No luck though with the Wi-Pi (http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1669935.pdf) usb dongle in the kit.
