>From a testing point of view, yes, start with "-u hL". Also, limit the rate, maybe '-r 96000'. (Upsampling to a higher sample rate requires more CPU.) Pi should be more than capable of upsampling 44k1 to 88k2 with 'h' setting, which is what '-u hL -r 96000' should result in.
