Yes this is an interesting card, and I would like to support in piCorePlayer. I will need access to a card in order to support it and even though I tried to write directly to Wolfson Audio asking if they could spare a card, I did not receive a response. I don't know anything about the sound quality, so any info is welcome. So at the moment I'm unable to add support for the Wolfson card.
