That made me laughing - often I also don't know precisely what is going
on.  But now you have seen how it is made, and as you probably knew
already I'm not a programmer. 
Thanks for your addition which I will add to piCorePlayer. I'm actually
trying to make a new version with support for a new I2S-DAC
http://iqaudio.com/   so your help was perfectly timed.

As you might know I had some difficulties in dealing with SSID names
with space in (that is the reason for the SED escape character - but
will your script handle a SSID with space in?
