Why did you (re)install LMS after do-release-upgrade? Shouldn't that
keep all your installed programs on your installation (as long as they
are supported)? Or am I wrong?

I'm still hesitating to upgrade my server from Xubuntu 14.04 because it
took me ages to get Google Play Music running ...
