Hi all,
I have discovered (I think) an issue or at least weirdness with SL on PCP and the -G option. I believe this is an SL issue but I'll move this post if you think not. The -G option seems to dissassert before the player is turned off. I noticed this as I use my PCP for music to sleep to, I had been playing an album and after it had finished I heard the click of my amplifier turning off. I use the "Powersave" plugin to switch off my players after 15 minutes of activity, the click occured only after 5 minutes or so. My bedroom PCP has a touchscreen set to clock screensaver when off but this was still on the now playing screen. After another 10 minutes (via powersave) the screen turned off. I have replicated this on a test PCP today, even with no action in the powersave plugin the system still powers down the IO pin after 5 minutes "stopped" even though the player is "On" Command lines are:- Bedroom:- /usr/local/bin/squeezelite -n "Bedroom1" -o hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry -a 80:4::1 -v -G 13:H Test:- /usr/local/bin/squeezelite -n "piCorePlayer" -o hw:CARD=ALSA -a 80:::1: -G 13:H Jeff *Players:* SliMP3,Squeezebox3 x3,Receiver,SqueezeLiteX,PiCorePlayer x3,Wandboard *Server:* LMS Version: Latest Nightly on Centos 7 VM on ESXi 6.5.0U1 on Dell T320 *Plugins:* AutoRescan/BBCiPlayer/PowerSave/PowerSwitchIII/Squeezecloud/Spotty/Player Groups *Remotes:* iPeng9/Orangesqueeze/PC/Jivelite/SqueezeLiteX *Music:* 522GB,1660 albums with 23087 songs by 5204 artists mostly FLACs *Want a webapp ?* See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104305-Webapp-for-LMS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jeff07971's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49290 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
