The set size width and height are only for the jivelite PiGrid and Joggler skins. It will create dynamic skins on startup as long as the screen size ratio (width/height) is >= 1.2. Jivelite does not query the actual screen size. The frame rate value is used by SDL. I found that a single core rpi can manage at a frame rate of 22. Increasing it improves the text scrolling smoothness on rpi2 or better. Min is 4, max is 60, If the value is outside that range, JL ignores it and uses 30fps. The frame colour bit depth is not always 32 bit by default. Some screens default to 16, so it really should not be readonly and read from fbset.
