Hello, I have just downloaded the latest 7.0.0 piCorePlayer image and I
have a question about the hashing. The compressed file includes a text
file including the md5 hash for the piCorePlayer. I wanted to check
this matched the hash that I get for the downloaded image (seems like a
really good practice). However, I can't match the hash -- and I suspect
that it is because I don't know the protocol that was used to make this.

The piCorePlayer 7.0.0 hash (as reported in the accompanying text file)
is:

Code:
--------------------
     057b9d9b2f647ac28bb92a5f94286f7a piCorePlayer7.0.0.img
--------------------

The installation instructions suggest that this can be checked using the
hash capability in Win32DiskImager. However, the hash part of my
Win32DiskImager appears to be greyed out. So, instead I used the hashes
generated from 7zip that generates CRC32, CRC64, SHA1, SHA286 and
BLAKE2sp hash numbers. However, none of these match the hash with the
downloaded image (above).

Does anyone know what the md5 protocol was, that was used to generate
the md5 number?

[I could screenshot the hashes I get from the 7zip approaches, if
useful? Annoyingly, the window does not allow me to copy and paste
them]
